    • Pros: picture quality, sound
    • Cons: guarantee

    Purchased Sony almost a year ago. Had to be returned because although I could play photographs it wouldn't acknowledge DVDs. Under Sony's one year guarantee they do not repair your machine but send a reconditioned model. I received another machine and this too has developed same fault.     • Pros: Looked good and recorded well from video or DVD
    • Cons: Would not dub from video to DVD or back

    Purchased and practised for 3 days convinced that I was doing something wrong. Friend who had a similar model came and immediately let me know that there was something wrong. Read other reviews that told me about glitch in Sony system that they are unable to fix. I returned model to shop and decided to purchase different make which worked immediately.
