I bought this machine about a week ago and so far it is proving to be good buy.It was purchased to replace a Panasonic NV-FJ630 VHS recorder. Bitterly disappointed. Useless for any editing or copying - for some lunatic reason, characters appear onscreen and will be copied when copying to or from this machine. Incredibly, not even a pause button!
After using Panasonic machines for 17 years, this one is an absolute let-down. I was hoping this would replace my ancient Panasonic L25, but now have to buy another vcr for copying tape to tape... Read Full Review »

as I had loads of tapes this combi was ideal.I've always bought Panny and this produce shows why.
well built,dvd/video picture good,sound v.good.timer accessed quickly and set even an adult can do it,not like a friends sony dvd recorder (nightmare!!!)

Great little machine this with it's integrated Freeview tuner and combined VCR. You can record from a VHS tape to DVD and vice-versa. Has DVD-Ram which allows for better editing facilities. Electronic Programme Guide lets you set your timer recording with ease. Very happy with this product and would recommend. Read Full Review »
